Bathing Beauty

I set up our Wingscapes BirdCam at the birdbath earlier this week and was pleased to see this American Robin had a good splash on the hot day. I see mostly Mourning Doves and House Sparrows at the bath when I look outside.

That camera takes awesome photos! I have seen others and I am always impressed.
Do you keep it on all the time? Does it constantly shoot photos?

Dawn, I usually set it out in the morning and take it in at night, but sometimes I’ll leave it overnight. It doesn’t work in the dark so it goes into battery saver mode when it’s dark. You can set the sensitivity and adjust how many photos it should take per ‘event’ (each time the motion sensor detects movement). For these shots I think I had the sensitivity pretty high so it was taking photos almost constantly when the birdbath was occupied. I love my Wingscapes Birdcam! 🙂
